B.I.G. Mack

This sampler was originally given out as part of the 'B.I.G. Mack' promo package from Bad Boy Entertainment in 1994. To create a buzz around the new record label and these artists, Puff Daddy came out with an unforgettable marketing campaign - he would distribute promo music from both artists, packaged like a McDonald's Big Mac but would call it the 'B.I.G. Mack' to play off the last names of the emcees monikers. Craig Mack's 'Funk Da World' would go gold and the single 'Flava in Your Ear' would go platinum. Biggie's career went into the stratosphere with his album 'Ready to Die', and the single 'Juicy' going gold that same year.
