God First

Released in 2017, Mr Jukes is a passion-project by Jack Steadman (frontman of Bombay Bicycle Club), which is distinctly back-to-your roots in flavour, allowing him to explore the crate-digging influences of soul, funk, hip-hop and jazz - from Bill Withers to John Coltrane. 'God First' features an eclectic, carefully-curated cast of guests including: BJ the Chicago Kid, Charles Bradley, Lianne La Havas, Horace Andy, Laleh Hathaway, and Elli Ingram. Steadman has four Gold-certified albums, has previously been nominated for the Mercury Prize and won the Ivor Novello Award.
