Critically hailed as the greatest album of all time- Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was the first ever concept album and completely changed the way people and bands made albums. This heavyweight 180g vinyl record was cut from the original master tapes and is now considered to reflect the authentic voice of The Beatles, as it was meant to be heard, in mono. The packaging replicates the artwork and construction of the original LP sleeve. This is the first ever multi-format reissue of a Beatles studio album. It has been remixed by Giles Martin and also includes Giles Martin remixes of ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ and ‘Penny Lane’ which were released as a double A-side single in 1967, but not included on the original album. The 1CD features the new ‘Sgt. Pepper’ stereo album mix, complete with the original U.K. album’s “Edit for LP End” run-out groove.
