Austin Mahone's 2014 debut has been extremely anticipated by press and his fanbase, The Mahomies, alike. Mahone was born in San Antonio, TX in 1996. He first started posting videos on YouTube in 2010. As his YouTube views started to accumulate, he quickly caught young fans' attention across the country. In 2013, Austin was named one of MTV's artist to watch. Later in the year, he won "Artist To Watch" at the MTV VMAs. At the MTV EMAs, Austin won both "Best Push Artist" and "Artist on the Rise", and the awards began piling in. The debut EP, THE SECRET, totals eight songs and features his Top 40 breakout "Mmm Yeah" (featuring Pitbull) plus seven never before released songs.
