Featuring Australian Tania Davis, an ex-Sydney conservatorium graduate on violin, Eos Chater (violin), Elspeth Hanson (viola) and Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello) complete the bevy of talented and beautiful women that make up BOND. BOND presents a pop/classical version of AR Rahman's Jai Ho (made famous by Slumdog Millionaire), a rewiring of the original string line from the Rolling Stones, The Last Time (better known as The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony) and a BONDesque version of Pump It. BOND collaborated with London-based hip hop rappers, the Young Offenders, for the track Diablo which also features vocals by the quartet's second violinist, Eos Chater. Chater wrote the track West With the Night in homage to the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic. With the new album, BOND introduces its new viola player, Elspeth Hanson. Elspeth was chosen after she was spotted performing alongside Jimmy Page and Leona Lewis as David Beckham kicked a ball into infinity at the Beijing Olympics handover ceremony. The quartet made the album with long-term collaborator, Magnus Fiennes, and producer Graham Stack (of Kylie Minogue, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Take That, Westlife and Girls Aloud fame).
