The Motörhead rock ‘n’ roller coaster continued a-pace with the release of the aptly titled Rock ‘N’ Roll album a year in succession following Orgasmatron. The revolving door of members would continue however, with the departure of Pete Gill although this time rehearsals for a brand new drummer weren’t required as the return of Phil Taylor brought two of the ‘classic’ line-up back together in the same room once more. The resultant album (their second for the GWR record label) reached a still healthy #34 in the U.K. chart and offered the die-hard fans another brace of future ‘Head classics with the title track, ‘Stone Deaf In The USA’ and ‘Traitor’. The title music of the Eat The Rich movie by the Comic Strip Presents production team was also another high point on the album and is a track that surfaces with some regularity on Best Of collections over the years. This deluxe 2CD edition adds two single b-sides from the ‘Eat The Rich’ 12” single namely, ‘Cradle To The Grave’ and ‘Just ‘Cos You Got The Power’. Also added is a complete live performance taken from the Monsters Of Rock festival at Donington in 1986.
