CD1 bursts into life with Wham!'s chart-topping 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go', followed by a run of familiar favourites from ABC and Kenny Loggins, and timeless sing-alongs from Dexys Midnight Runners with 'Come On Eileen' and Bow Wow Wow's 'I Want Candy'. Classics from Adam & The Ants, Haircut 100, Kajagoogoo and Nik Kershaw pave the way for enduring favourites including Kim Wilde's 'Kids In America', Rockwell's 'Somebody's Watching Me' and The Pointer Sisters' 'Jump (For My Love)', before closing on the dancefloor smash 'Let's Hear It For The Boy' from Deniece Williams. CD2 opens with Duran Duran and their iconic 'Rio', followed by a global smash from Culture Club with 'Karma Chameleon'. The hits continue with standout tracks from Sister Sledge, Spandau Ballet and Blondie, alongside some of the eras most popular new artists including Toyah, Haysi Fantayzee and a solo Alison Moyet. There's a retro feel to the rest of disc two with 60s Jazz and Rock 'n' Roll influenced Pop from Matt Bianco, Shakin' Stevens, Stray Cats and closing with Bad Manners version of Can Can'. CD3 begins with Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 9-week chart-topper 'Two Tribes', followed by 1981's biggest seller 'Don't You Want Me' from The Human League. Artists enjoying early chart success include Heaven 17, Tears For Fears and Men At Work. UB40 and Musical Youth feature with Reggae influenced pop, leading into a joyful run of pure pop high-energy including huge hits from Dave Stewart & Barbara Gaskin, Aneka, The Weather Girls, The Nolans, Dollar and finishing on a No.1 high with Bucks Fizz's 'My Camera Never Lies'.
