Widely regarded as the most exciting storyteller of his generation, the announcement marks the first taste of a new chapter from the multi award-winning musician behind the critically acclaimed no. 1 albums 'Psychodrama' and 'We're All Alone in This Together'. 'The Boy Who Played the Harp' is the first release from Dave since 2023, when self-produced Central Cee collaboration 'Sprinter' broke the record for the longest running #1 rap record in UK chart history, succeeding his 2022 single 'Starlight' which set the record for longest-running No. 1 solo UK track, and the first UK No. 1 by a sole writer and producer in eight years.
