His audience, in fact, has been increasing for over fifty years; once beguiled, his listeners have remained captivated by this unique voice: the gravelly voice of an angel of such perfection in its lyricism and emotion that no nightingale with its hit parade could ever be its equal. Celebrating a fifty-year career, the release of this set of nine studio albums, produced between 1987 and 2012, released through Island Records and Emarcy / Universal Music France, allows us to discover not the complete opus of Salif Keita but in fact a rich repertoire filled will wonders.
