UK Edition. The latest in the series of beautiful picture discs from The Cure, The Top celebrates 40 years with this edition. This set features founding drummer of The Cure Lol Tolhurst on keyboards and then-new drummer Andy Andreson on the skins. Cut from the 2006 remaster, The Top features "The Caterpillar," "Shake Dog Shake," "Birdmad Girl," and "Dressing Up" among other fan favorites. 2024 marks the 40th Anniversary of The Cure's 5th studio album, 'The Top'. First Time on Picture Disc Remastered by Robert Smith and cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios, London. Released in May 1984 the album reached Number 10 in the UK albums chart and features the single "The Caterpillar" (#14 in the UK Singles Chart) The Picture Disc is house in beautiful die-cut sleeve designed by the original designer, Andy Vella, and is printed both inside and out.
