The soundtrack to 'Blue Giant' features new original music from Grammy-winning Japanese pianist, composer and 'jazz rule-breaker' Hiromi. More than 30 top-class musicians, including a string section (conducted by Miho Hazama) and jazz players gathered at Hiromi's request and participated in the production of the film's musical accompaniment and other band performances. The soundtrack contains 29 tracks, including an original song called 'Blue Giant' which appears as the end credits theme. It is inspired by an image which came to Hiromi during the recording of 'Jass' and she performs it on the soundtrack with the other two members of the trio, Tomoaki and Shun. It is a touching song that provides a fitting conclusion to the film.
