Am 16. September wird Marcus Mumford sein erstes Soloalbum (selbstbetitelt) über Island Records veröffentlichen. Produziert von Blake Mills (Alabama Shakes, Jim James), enthält das Album Beiträge von Brandi Carlile, Phoebe Bridgers, Clairo und Monica Martin.

Marcus ist Gründungsmitglied von Mumford & Sons, die mit drei ihrer vier Studioalben an der Spitze der Billboard200 standen und 3,7 Millionen Alben in Großbritannien verkauft haben.
