New England is the seventh studio album by rock band Wishbone Ash. It was a success compared to the band's Locked In album, but still did not chart as high as most of their previous albums. This album would mark the "Americanization" of Wishbone Ash, as the band would relocate from England to the Northeastern United States (New England) for tax purposes.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
'New England' is the seventh album for the British rockers founded in Torquay, Devon in 1969. Wishbone Ash, famous for their twin lead guitar harmony's (one of the guitars at the time eye catching 'Flying V') became one of Europe's leading band's in the hard rock and progressive rock. The band's eponymous debut album 'Wishbone Ash' was released in 1970, after being recommended by Ritchie Blackmore after being the support act for Deep Purple. 'New England' is their first U.S. album after moving from England to the North eastern United States (New England) for tax purposes. 'New England' is considered to be one of their most popular albums.
