'Give Me Joy' is a high-energy, modern rework of 'Oil in My Lamp', taking a familiar, nostalgic hymn/school assembly tune and bringing it into a contemporary context. It was written specifically for Satellites (the UK's fastest-growing youth festival) and debuted live to 5,000 young people, where it immediately connected, creating genuine moments of joy, freedom and British childhood nostalgia. That live response sits at the core of the song.
