"DOPPIA MOZZARELLA", the new album from Dargen d'Amico, entitled "AI AI", which is part of the 76th edition of the Sanremo Music Festival and marked the artist's third appearance at the event. On stage, D'Amico once again brought the vivid spirit and irony that his music and writing have always defined his music and writing, confirmed his ability to use pop language as a space for reflection by blending formal ease with deep content. The record is the result of two years of work and a methodical and thorough reflection clearly expressed in its title: ironic and immediate, but meaningful. "DOPPIA MOZZARELLA" is used by Dargen d'Amico as a metaphor for contemporary life, constantly bombarded with stimuli that make people want more and more, far beyond their actual needs. The artist has worked closely with collaborators in recent years including Marilena Montarone, Tommaso Ruggeri, Diego Maggi and Alberto Venturini, producers and composers - including Gianluigi Fazio, Edwyn Roberts and Marco Zangirolami. Each song reveals clearly defined layers of time and meaning developed over time and are able to convey the entire complexity of the artistic journey that brought them to life.
