Founded by multi-instrumentalists Nicolò and Federico Vese, Italian progressive metal duo Asymmetric Universe has carved out a distinct space in the modern instrumental scene with a sound that seamlessly blends the aggressive intensity of metal with the rich harmonies and improvisational spirit of jazz fusion. Having emerged from a shared passion for composition and sonic exploration during their intense period of musical study nearly 10 years ago, the band now are set to release their debut album, 'A Memory And What Came After', on InsideOutMusic. The album, which they started work on in late 2023, reflects a refined vision and deeper maturity, as well as a more cohesive and expressive sound. Guest appearances also elevate the record, including solos by Richard Henshall (Haken) and Jared Yee (Sungazer).
