Dopo aver pubblicato singoli di grande successo tra il 1962 e 1963, sempre nel 1963 la RCA pubblica il primo LP di Morandi che raccoglie questi brani tra cui “Andavo a cento all'ora” e “Fatti mandare dalla mamma a prendere il latte”. Per celebrare il 60° anniversario dalla pubblicazione originale Sony Music presenta il disco in un’edizione numerata in sole 500 copie con vinile azzurro 180 grammi.
