Il BMS, dopo qualche avventuroso mese di prove, concerti e costruzione del repertorio, nell’autunno 1971 entra in studio. In poco tempo assembla le composizioni di questo straordinario debutto. Il Banco irrompe nella scena come un fiume in piena, inarrestabile con la sua miscela di rock forbito ma selvaggio (Il giardino del mago), dove la perizia tecnica (Metamorfosi) si miscela all’antimilitarismo senza compromessi (RIP).
