Métamorphose | CD

VENDREDI SUR MER Métamorphose Friday Sur Mer returns with a new album 'Métamorphose' Composed and recorded in 2021, she posed with delicacy and immediacy her texts and music. Joined in turn by Myd, Canblaster, Saint DX, Owlle, Joseph Schiano Di Lombo, Dune, Nit, Appollo Noir and of course Sam Tiba, she composed the twelve titles that form Metamorphosis. The result: a rawer, rawer, more adult disc too. The emotions are strong, complex, in turn sexual, provocative, imprinted with blackness, opacity or disappointment. In twelve titles written most often in the first person, Vendredi Sur Mer talks about the friendship, love, social relationships that unite him with others. With all these contrasts, the disc forms a passionate and endearing kaleidoscope: The portrait of a young woman today who speaks with sincerity about her desires, her flaws, her vulnerabilities too. Woman-subject, first of all.
