Prodotto da Andrew Watt - che si è occupato anche della produzione di “Ordinary Man” - questo nuovo 'Patient Number 9' è il 13esimo lavoro in studio di OSBOURNE, è certamente un disco 'heavy' e, a suo modo, è anche storico per via dei tanti ospiti importanti presenti: i chitarristi Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton e Mike McCready dei Pearl Jam, il braccio destro di OZZY e mostro delle 6 corde Zakk Wylde, Chad Smith dei Red Hot Chili Peppers alla batteria, l'ex membro della band di OZZY Robert Trujillo dei Metallica, Duff McKagan dei Guns N' Roses e Chris Chaney dei Jane's Addiction. Anche il compianto Taylor Hawkins dei Foo Fighters ha dato il suo prezioso contributo. Per la prima volta in assoluto, infine, appare in un album solista di OZZY OSBOURNE anche il co-fondatore e chitarrista dei Black Sabbath Tony Iommi.
