With Soulgrass, the former Miles Davis bandmate ventures into adventurous territory by combining jazz, funk and bluegrass in a seamless blend that is totally unique in American music. The great saxophonist and multiple Jazzaward winner Bill Evans is supported by the legendary Bela Fleck as well as Victor Wooten, Vinnie Colaiuta, Mark Egan, Bruce Hornsby, Clifford Carter and Dave Kikoski, David Charles and the legendary guitarist John Scofield. Other special guests include such groundbreaking bluegrass greats as Sam Bush, Stuart Duncan, Jerry Douglas and Pat Bergeson.
