Django Heinrich Reinhardt: Zurück zum Swing (Back to Swing) With this album the well-known musician Django H. Reinhardt from Koblenz opens a new chapter in his career. In 2020 he celebrates his 50th stage anniversary. Countless concerts with covered world hits have made him internationally famous. Now he has decided to play his own musical style. He goes a new way Back to Swing . Based on the music of his famous father Daweli Reinhardt, solo guitarist and co-founder of the Schnuckenack-Reinhardt Quintet, he has produced a swing album with jazzy songs in German language - always authentic and charming as Django himself. With this album he not only returns to the musical roots of his family, he also reinterprets them in new ways, like with Der Mond schaut uns zu (The moon is watching us). This first single of Zurück zum Swing (Back to Swing) is about typical relationship dynamics of lovers, told by Django in a cool and relaxed way. The musician from Koblenz gets musical support from well-known stars like drummer Peter Lübke (Udo Jürgens & Pepe Lienhard) or from trumpeter Axel Schlosser and fellow musicians of the Big Band of the Hessian Broadcasting Corporation.
