Electronic Music Masterpieces is a compilation dedicated to all fans of electronic synthesizer music. Edgar Froese, founder of the band Tangerine Dream and pioneer of electronic and ambient music, opens this sampler. The mega track Tyger by Tangerine Dream follows as title no. 2. The other great bands emphasize that their electronic rhythms, spherical clouds of sound and beautiful melodies lead a to a perfect sound experience. Bands such as Space from France, who landed an international no. 1 hit in 1977 with their title Magic Fly , or Yello being represented with their song Pacific AM , illustrate the high quality of this CD.
