The 17-year-old pianist Yoav Levanon has chosen a demanding programme of works by Liszt, Chopin, Mendelssohn and Schumann. Liszt's mighty 'Sonata in B minor' forms the centrepiece of 'A Monument for Beethoven', an album honouring the four composers' contribution to the festivities which in 1845 marked Beethoven's 75th anniversary in the city of Bonn, his birthplace.
