Awkward Breeds

In 2009, Punknews.org (the genres biggest webzine) awarded "Album of the Year" to The Sidekicks. The band has since migrated from Cleveland to Columbus and made an even bigger migration with their ever-maturing sound on "Awkward Breeds". Some will hear influences like Superchunk, Rilo Kiley, and Weezer on this latest album, but The Sidekicks have managed to retain and further develop a signature sound that is all their own.
