As a result Bridge has finally been recognized as the remarkably varied and imaginative composer that he was. Hickox' Wiedergaben sind ausgeglichen, niemals leichtfertig, manchmal sogar vollblütig und vermitteln präzise Vorstellungen von den Werken. Der Dirigent hat viel ruhigen Atem für die stilleren Momente übrig, aber auch genügend Kraft für rauschende Tuttipassagen. Das Orchester zeigt sich von seiner brillanten Seite. --FonoForum 3/2002
