Robert Randolph après "Unclassi. ed" sorti en 2003 et "Colorblind" en 2006, une nomination aux Grammys et des titres récurants dans des séries tvs (Grey's Anatomy, Undercover Boss) ou des . lms (Stomp the Yard et The Game Plan) , Robert Randolph s'est par ailleurs construit une imposante réputation de musicien au cours de ses nombreuses tournées ! Sur ce troisième album, il a, avec son producteur T. Bone Burnett, puisé dans les grands titres de la musique américaine du 20ème siècle. On y retrouve de remarquables interprétations de "If I Had My Way" (avec Ben Harper) , "Salvation" (avec Leon Russell), "Walk Don't Walk" (titre de Prince), "Shot of Love" de Bob Dyan (avec J. Keltner) ou de John Lennon "I Don't Wanna Be A Soldier Mama" (avec Doyle Bramhall II)
