The Association will always be best known for their soft rock, romantic ballad, "Cherish." Covered by countless others, including The Partridge Family, it remains a staple of easy listening station formats. The group also had perkier moments, as best captured by the breezy "Windy." But they had other hits: "Along Came Mary," "Never My Love" and "Everything That Touches You" also gave the band significant chart positions. The Association's finer compositions borrowed from the more innocuous aspects of '60s folk rock, fusing it together with their capable vocals.
