For her ninth album, Estrellas, Florence has teamed up with Grammy Award winner Alex Cuba, whose music is recognized around the world. On Estrellas (“stars”), Florence sings nine original songs in Spanish, English and French with rhythms of salsa, reggaeton and bachata. By surrounding herself with collaborators such as the Miami-based arranger Luis Papo Marquez and Cuban-based beatmaker Ricardo Del Llano, Florence brings to this project the integrity and the authenticity she has always shown throughout her career.Estrellas, with its sunshine-filled melodies and its latin grooves, has everything it takes to become the ideal soundtrack for the summer.

Pour son neuvième album, Estrellas, Florence K effectue un retour à ses premières amours, la musique aux influences cubaines et latines. Pour ce faire, elle s’est alliée à l’auteur-compositeur-interprète et réalisateur Alex Cuba, récipiendaire entre autres de quatre prix Grammys dans la catégorie « musique latine ». Les chansons de l’album sont l’oeuvre d’Alex Cuba et de Florence K et cette dernière les interprète en espagnol et en français, avec un petit clin d’oeil en anglais. Leurs textures musicales sont fortement teintées de salsa, de reggaeton, et de bachata. Estrellas (« étoiles » en français) a tout pour devenir la trame sonore d’un été rempli de soleil.
