FLAG OF DEMOCRACY (FOD) formed in 1982, and has been thrashing ever since. They have released seven full-length records, a live record, a handful of EPs and about a million comp tracks. 23 is FODs second full length. Originally released in 1988 on the long defunct Buy Our Records, 23 is 17 raging, thrashing hardcore tracks. This is the bands first recording with Bob on drums, bringing an almost jazzy style to the insane blasts of psychotropic influenced thrash. The artwork from the original release has been replaced with the poster that the band had wanted to use for the cover.
