Ed Littlefield - Walking Between Worlds

Drummer and percussionist Ed Littlefield joins with his band - Christian Fabian (bassist with Lionel Hampton), Jason Marsallis (member of the venerable Marsalis family), and Reuel Lubag (Glenn Miller Orchestra) - to present a collage of traditional songs from the Native American Alaskan Tlingít Culture combined with straight ahead jazz treatments and originals. Includes the childhood lullaby songs Haandéi Ax Choonéitk'i, Haagú S'é, Talisman, The Hook Song, and Aayátx'i. This recording has been very popular among Sitka arts patrons and students of local cultures.
