For the past 16 years those who have gone to see the Penn & Teller show at the Rio in Las Vegas have been entertained before the show by the Mike Jones Duo. Jones is joined by a disguised hip looking bassist in a hat who is actually the taller half of the act they all came to see, Penn Jillette. The Show Before the Show was recorded live at the Penn & Teller Theater capturing the musical magic before the prestidigitation begins. The duo weaves their way through a variety of standards from the great American songbook and one original by Jones.
