Het trio van Ben Goldberg (klarinet, altklarinet), Geof Bradfield (sopraan- en tenorsax, basklarinet) en Dana Hall (percussie) verkent op deze cd nieuwe richtingen. Hun debuut voor Delmark bevat zowel zelfgeschreven stukken als unieke interpretaties van Duke Ellington, Cecil Taylor en Hermeto Pascoal. De ongewone instrumentatie - vooral het ontbreken van een bassist - zorgt ervoor dat de traditionele instrumentrollen van begeleiding, improvisatie en interactie losgelaten kunnen worden.
