Despite Steve Albini relentlessly advocating for Touch and Go Records to release Tweez in 1989, we declined. A few weeks later, Steve invited Slint to an impromptu recording session to make use of some studio time booked by another band who did not show up. At the end of the session, Steve did a quick mix for the band to take home.
