Kammermusik aus der Feder von Max Bruch (1838-1920) entstand hauptsächlich am Anfang und am Ende seines langen kompositorischen Wirkens. Bis auf eine Ausnahme steht sie heute ganz im Schatten seines omnipräsenten ersten Violinkonzerts. Das britische Nash Ensemble eröffnet uns hier anhand großer und kleinerer Formen einen lohnenswerten Einblick in ein bislang äußerst sträflich vernachlässigtes Œuvre.



With a programme of chamber works drawn from both ends of Bruch’s long composing career, members of The Nash Ensemble once more reveal a neglected side of the composer’s output.
