Aus Francesca Simones Stücken spricht die Unbeschwertheit der Canzoni ihrer italienischen Heimat, gepaart mit dem nötigen Schuss Melancholie und Nachdenklichkeit. Der große Pluspunkt des Trios liegt im kammermusikalischen Klangkonzept, in dem akustische Gitarre, Perkussion und Francescas warme Stimme eng kommunizieren. Ohne in seichte Pop-Gefilde abzudriften, ist das Resultat eine Stunde gute Laune und professionelle Unterhaltung. Die verbesserungswürdige Kölsch-Aussprache der Wahl-Rheinländerin führt da selbst in einer in Köln beheimateten Zeitschrift nicht zur Abwertung.
