This was recorded live in Belgium in 2004 with a pick-up band. Live in Anvers recorded for Radio Luxembourg is the last album Alex Chilton released during his lifetime. Includes originals “In the Street” and “Bangkok.” An obsessive crate digger, especially of southern soul music, Alex also unearthed and transcribed the music for Frederick Knight’s “Claim to Fame” and songs made popular by Wilson Pickett and Ernie K Doe.
