Whisper of the Heart

When Shizuku Tsukishima, a middle school student who loves to read, meets her classmate, Seiji Amasawa, her impression of him couldn’t be worse. But as she watches him pursue his dream of becoming a cellist, she’s gradually drawn closer and closer to him. Seiji himself also falls for Shizuku, when he learns about her dream to become a novelist. The two promise each other that one day they’ll make their dreams come true. Ten years later, 24-year-old Shizuku (Nana SEINO) has become an editor of children’s books at a publisher. Having given up her dream of becoming a novelist, her days now pass selling other writers’ works. Seiji (Tori MATSUZAKA), on the other hand, is still pursuing his dream abroad. With their paths through life seemingly growing ever more distant from each other, the two must consider if the promise made all those years ago is strong enough to keep them together.
