Critical praise has been heaped on Raphaël Feuillâtre's performances of everything from early works for guitar to contemporary music and a wide range of transcriptions. Feuillâtre made his international breakthrough in 2018 as winner of the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition. He embarked soon after on an extensive tour that included recitals in the US, Canada, Latin America, throughout Europe, and in China. On his debut album, 'Visages Baroques', he presents arrangements of Baroque music, by Bach and French composers, originally written for keyboard. Feuillâtre focuses on music written originally for keyboard that fellow-guitarists, including two of his own teachers, have transcribed and arranged, featuring J.S. Bach and French Baroque composers Rameau, Forqueray, Royer and Duphly.
