Aled Jones MBE is one of the most recognisable and well-loved figures in classical music. As a boy chorister his voice captured the hearts and imaginations of Welsh church congregations, before he shot to international prominence with ‘Walking In The Air’.

Since becoming a baritone his career has continued on the same trajectory, leading to frequent best-selling recordings and numerous television appearances as host of Escape To The Country and Songs of Praise.

In this 2014 two-CD album, ABC Classics brings together the best of Aled, young and old, for the first time, with hits including ‘You Raise Me Up’, ‘I’ll Walk Beside You’ and, of course, the perennial favourite ‘Walking In The Air’.
