Chant: Music for Paradise

MONKS SOUGHT FOR RECORDING DEALIt all started with some striking advertising in religious publications for 'Monks, Men of the Cloth and Sacred Singers'. Following this campaign came some high profile radio interviews with UCJ's A&R department and soon the search for suitable singers became the headline of entertainment news. When the winners of this unusal competition have been selected, they will go into the recording studio with a repertoire of Gregorian Chant, sacred vocal music from the Middle Ages.In the midst of our stressful, high-octane, twenty-first century lives, the purity of Chant serves as a kind of nostalgia for a calmer and simpler time.
