Mariko Takahashi and Stefan Winter are traveling around the world to find these fantastic night stories of people and their music from other nations and cultures. In Venice for example musicians play at St. Marks Square for lovers in the middle of the night, in Paris poor harlots and harlot-makers, the rich and drunkards, thieves and liars listen to the French musette, and in Havana the people go to social clubs and drink rum from paper cups when an old guitar player and a young lady open with their song the window onto another world.
