LEAVIN TOWN is the debut album from Flamekeeper the new band founded by five-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year Michael Cleveland and featuring John Mark Batchelor on banjo, mandolin player Jesse Brock (Lynn Morris Band), guitarist and vocalist Todd Rake straw (Union Station, Timberline Drive), and bassist and vocalist Marshall Wilborn (Lynn Morris Band, Johnson Mountain Boys, Longview). The jaw-dropping intensity of Flamekeepers live performances have already made them a favorite on the bluegrass circuit, and Leaving Town is filled with hard driving instrumental and vocal music that fans the sparks struck by bluegrass's first generation into a bold new flame.
