Musical Explorers: Music of Tibet

De serie Musical Explorers staat onder supervisie van Simon Broughton. In dit derde deel gaat het om de film Echoes from Tibet, in 1979 opgenomen door Deben Bhattacharya in Ladakh (ook wel Little Tibet genoemd), Darjeeling en Dharamsala. Hier leven veel uitgeweken Tibetanen, waaronder de Dalai Lama, die ook in de film voorkomt. De muziek op de begeleidende cd is opgenomen in 1975 en 1979 in de vluchtelingengemeenschappen van Ladakh, Himalchal Pradesh, Sikkim en Darjeeling.
