L'immortel: The 60's Rumba Revolution in Congo

Franklin Boukaka was de `hogepriester van de rumba', een pionier van de populaire muziek in Congo. Nadat hij in 1972 werd vermoord, raakte hij onterecht in de vergetelheid. Deze eerste officiÙle heruitgave van zijn werk begint met het album dat zijn testament was (geproduceerd door Manu Dibango) tot zijn werk met zijn groep Cercul-Jazz. Hij was een van de grootste muzikanten uit Congo en dÚ grote stem van het pan-Afrikanisme en de dekolonisatie.
