Marko Melkon

Hij is geboren in Smyrna, Turkije uit Armeense ouders, maar zong en speelde zo authentiek in vloeiend Grieks dat de Grieken hem als een van hen zagen. Oud-speler Melkon werd na zijn vertrek naar de US in de jaren '50 een veelgevraagd muzikant in New York. Deze cd is voor zowel liefhebbers van de oud als van muziek uit het Midden-Oosten zeer interessant.
