M83 returns with 'Resurrection', an original score composed, performed and recorded by Anthony Gonzalez for Bi Gan's science-fiction film of the same name. Selected for Official Competition at Cannes 2025 and awarded the Prix Spécial du Jury, the film is matched by a soundtrack that moves between celestial synth work and widescreen orchestration. Across ten instrumental pieces and two silent film bonus tracks, Gonzalez shapes a vivid, emotionally charged arc, balancing hushed ambience with surging melodic themes. 'Sullen Passage', featured in the film's trailer, captures the record's sense of scale and atmosphere in a single, luminous statement.
