The Paper Chase

Comedy drama directed by James Bridges. James Hart (Timothy Bottoms) is a first-year student at Harvard Law School struggling with his demanding professor Charles Kingsfield (John Houseman). He begins a relationship with Susan (Lindsay Wagner), not realising that she is Kingsfield's daughter. The pressure to succeed at Harvard wears on Hart and he must decide what he really wants in life.
