One morning while reading the newspaper, I came across an article about local recording studios in town. The owner of one studio, Dave Cocalis, mentioned in the article that he 'liked working with singer-songwriters who didn't have their own bands.' That was me! I called Dave, somewhat anxious about working with someone new, but set up a time to do one song together. We never looked back. Nine months later, with Dave as recording engineer, producer, and fellow musician, the musical journey of making this CD has been a blast. I'm thrilled about what we've put together and eager to get working on the next CD. The styles of music range from blues to folk to jazz, maybe even a bit of pop thrown in. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
