The Swing

Immediately more powerful on their fourth album, The Swing, INXS were growing once again. Focused songwriting and amazing performances mark this creative and commercial milestone. Nick Launay, the groundbreaking producer behind fellow Australians Midnight Oil, oversaw most of this project, which was recorded in New York, England and Australia in late 1983. Launay gave the band a thicker, more cinematic sound based primarily around Andrew's sonic keyboards rather than INXS's guitar reserve. The Australian Number One hit 'Original Sin' was produced by Chic superstar Nile Rodgers and provided INXS with added prestige the world over. Singles 'I Send A Message' and 'Burn For You' proved this band's versatility. The albums has new been remastered as part of the INXS Remastered series.
